Today we are back from my lemon tree. In the last video I repotted it in spring and apparently I
0:14
ignored it until this winter. So there's no footage from the end of 2019. As you can see in February
0:20
not much had happened. It grew some leaves and was healthy enough. It is the time of year I like to
0:25
hard prunes so that's exactly what i did it's now set up for this year's growth
0:36
you can see here some of the leaves look yellow and old these leaves are a year old so it's
0:40
perfectly normal for some of them to go like this and then fall off in march it was time to repot
0:47
i somehow lost quite a lot of the footage but here is the roots being really long so i put on
0:52
a lot of good growth in that little pot. And here's the roots after I was done
1:03
treating with them. Another classic extreme cutback. They're still a long way off but we'll get there one day
1:22
So I'm swapping the pod to this little blue rectangle one. It's roughly a similar size to the white one, I just fancy the change
1:30
I really have no idea what happened to the footage, but I'm sure you've all seen a repod
1:36
video a million times, so you're not really missing anything important. Anyway I just put it in and cover it in soil
2:21
So here it is afterwards
2:48
I think it's better in this pot. What do you think? Let me know below
3:00
In April the new budget started this well, and was looking all okay
3:08
Not much change in May, but it seemed happy enough. In June I had plenty of new leaves and was looking quite healthy
3:24
I still think this pot was the better option. In July it's looking great
3:32
It could do with a trim but I'm not going to grow out for the year so I'll deal with
